Hi Hurricanes family,

I wanted to share some great news with you! Recently, I met with someone from Club Southside at Upper Mount Gravatt. They have decided to come on board and sponsor Sunnybank Hills Hurricanes. The sponsorship funds received will be used to benefit our Hurricanes players. This will be used towards training programs, competitions and we’d also like to give you all the chance to get in touch and let us know what you would like to see at the club. The Hurricanes committee is comprised of parents of players, and our door is always open to you and any input you have.

Club Southside is a charity and provider of sponsorships to multiple local clubs and associations. They have a restaurant, café and bar, and are offering lifetime memberships for $5!! What’s even better is that they give you the $5 back and a free cup of coffee!! So effectively, they are giving you a cup of coffee to join the club. When registering, all you need to do is tell them you are a Sunnybank Hills Hurricanes member. If you are already a member, just let them know at the front desk, and they will link you with our account. The venue is open to group bookings also, and we can have a section allocated for any events. The next part is where you, our Hurricanes family can help! The more members we can get joining Club Southside, the more the club will offer in the way of sponsorship. Any extra funds received will always go towards our members, and potentially other benefits, such as discounts at Hurricanes. So please head over to Club Southside, join up (as well as your partner, friends, family, neighbours) and tell them you are a Sunnybank Hills Hurricanes member. Drop in for an occasional dinner, and as mentioned, if you want to book an event, we can help get a section booked for you!
